The Peregrine Lakeview Cottage
Named after the Peregrine Falcon which was on the endangered species list during the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s. In 1975 they were successfully reestablished to the eastern United States and reoccupied the cliffs of Mount Pisgah. The Peregrine Falcon was removed from the U.S. Threatened and Endangered Species list on August 25, 1999.
